In this workshop, instructed by Christine Strothers, CPM, we will discuss the detailed newborn examination:

when indicated, how to proceed through a more in-depth evaluation,

what tests are required by the state
-
testing including CCHD screening, bilirubin levels, hearing screens

what steps to take after the midwife has finished the exam
-
and more
Then we get to practice!

Four (4) hours, the equivalent of
0.4 CEUs., will be applied for with MEAC and, if approved, will be included on the fee.
